New Year Resolutions |

|
In contemplation of the past year a person can think of the things we planned to do and did them, the things we didn’t get done and time has run out-well almost. New Years resolutions are a good thing if we take them serious. We may have good intentions that we feel we should do better, but unless they become top priorities and we set about to do them we will probably go through another year with the same things undone. Can you think of some of these things? To each it might be different, but perhaps one thing we wanted to do this past year was put aside some money for a “rainy day.” Dave Ramsey teaches with fervency the blessing of being out of debt, and saving into an emergency fund. I know some may think that is impossible, but if it is really important in our lives we can spare a little here or there and a little set aside consistently will surprise you what it will become. Another big thing that many put off to a more convenient time is their relationship with God. Anyone who believes in God must think about someday giving an account to Him of our lives. This thought is perpetually put off through the years by most and then because of this habit, they put it off until it is too late. We can’t afford to put off this the greatest need of our lives: to have the forgiveness of our sins and be ready to meet Him whenever that day comes. If you do not know Christ as your Savior, ask His forgiveness and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved-today!
