What in
the World Are You Doing? |

I try to tell
everyone the necessity of surrendering to the Lord Jesus Christ. I
want them to find Christ as their Savior and friend. He is the
answer to life’s greatest needs. He brings forgiveness, peace, joy
and deliverance from the enslavement of sins guilt and despair.
I urge everyone to attend a Bible teaching/preaching church where they
are invited and encouraged to find Christ and the glorious hope
(assurance) of heaven. |

If who you
“hang out with” affects your attitudes, direction in life, and the kind
of person you become, then going to church and worshiping with true
Christians should be the place you want to go. Now just because you
park your car in a bus garage doesn’t make it a school bus, and going to
church doesn’t make you a Christian, but you can become one by asking
Christ to forgive your sins and believing Him to do it. He will save
you and you can then be a real follower of Christ. The Bible, God’s
Holy Book, inspired by His Holy Spirit tells us in
Hebrews 10:25 ..
let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but
encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his
coming back again is drawing near. As we meet together
we encourage each other to be honest, be faithful to Christ, be faithful
to obey God’s Word, and be obedient to the laws of our land unless they
go against the Word of God and our conscience. I am sure all the
pastors of the churches of Miltonvale have this as their goal. Church
is not a game; it is a “God thing.” |
